Let's see....proof of evolution. Is it "the missing link" that turned out to be the tooth of an extinct pig? Or "Lucy", the skeleton of a monkey that the "scientists" say is the missing link? Humans and apes have different shaped pelvises. Lucy had an ape pelvis. But the "scientist" didn't like the fact, and changed it to look human. Plus it had no foot bones found, so they gave it human feet.
Yeah,...real science.
Take facts and twist it to fit what you want it to be, not what it truely is.

Troy stated that evolution is a "fact".
So I have just a couple of times where evolutionists have made up stuff to try to "prove" it's real.
Here's another thought....the earth is moving away from the sun a little each year. If you went back even a million years, the earth would have been so close to the sun it would have fried up. Nothing could have lived.
Even the fossil record does more to prove the Bible then evolution. Millions of dead things buried. The flood of Noah's day caused that.
Plus thing like the coelacanth. They found fossils of it, and said the lobed fins was PROOF of evolution. The lobed fins on the fish were fins evolving into arms and legs.
Then fishermen caught a live one in their nets in the 1930s. The lobed fins were still lobed fins. No "evolution" at all. So once again, the evolution followers change it to "isn't it amazing how it survived unchanged for millions of years?"
Yup, more "scientific proof" of evolution.
DNA even proves more that it couldn't happen. DNA doesn't change, except for negative mutations. Oh, evolutionists SAY that positive mutations happen, but they can't even come up with ONE to back that up.
All I am saying is that believing in evolution is 100% blind faith, just as my belief in God is.
I can't prove HE exists, and evolutionists can't prove a fish can become a man, or a bird, or anything but what KIND it is in the first place.

My own brother said that "if you say you are saved and going to heaven, you are saying you are better then me!" And I kept telling him "I am NO better then you! I DESERVE hell. The only difference between you and me is that i have accepted Christ's free gift of salvation, which is there for YOU too! All you have to do is take it for yourself!"
He died in 1994. I have no idea if he ever accepted. I hope he did.
Some of us here just want those that we care about here to have that same comfort. We are not trying to force anything on anyone. But we believe with our whole heart that to die without Christ means an awful eternity. That some hate us for that, I understand. But tell me....if you saw someone you cared about standing in the middle of a road with a truck bearing down on them, and you truely believed they were going to get run over, would you just stand there and do nothing? Or would you yell for them to get out of the road?
I give my warning because I care about my friends here. NOT to judge them or hurt them.
What kind of a friend would I really be NOT to?

As for the Sun and Earth. The orbit is not circular and is more elliptical. And when the Sun and Earth are at their closest point, that is actually decreasing, not distancing. Sometimes I wonder how much role that plays into the Global Warming stuff in combination with the heat of Human's play as we continue to grow in population. Probably a millionth of a fraction if at all lol.

You have to understand when they report the Sun and Earth getting closer they are not talking about an inch here and inch there. They are talking about very tiny portions of a millimeter. It's almost impossible for someone who doesn't value math to comprehend this in a grand scale. It would be like me trying to comprehend having a billion dollars in my bank account. I've never had more than five figures and to suddenly have 10 figures is just beyond my comprehension.

One thing Alan about you that I admire. You are very Faith based, but never once do I recall you speaking down to me for lacking similar faith or beliefs and you always came off more educational than putting me down for believing differently. If I haven't told you, thank you for that. You're one of the few religious nuts (I use that jokingly only here) I enjoy talking about religion with.

Skimmed through and wanted to see your final words in the post ...

You've already deemed me a failure. Why would I waste my time with you? You've had your mind made. You believe you are superior to me because of your Faith. And yet while I quoted these two lines you fail to understand the problem an that my friend is precisely the problem.

It sickens me reading someone saying the things you are about this superiority complex. We are equals and the sooner you accept that regardless of color, race, sexuality and what have you, the sooner you can be accepted.

You are at peace with your faith and beliefs and although I disagree with it, I am happy for you and I feel that is what God would want from us all. To be happy and at peace with our decisions.

I get ticked when someone comes off as they are better than someone else because of their belief system. I adamantly feel that is wrong because we are collectively the human race and should be accepting of everyone's belief regardless of age, gender, sexuality, color or anything else. If it does not hurt someone, it is not wrong.

You have your mind made up and even if in the very unlikely chance I could somehow enlighten you to what I've learned, what kind of person would that make me to rob you of your Faith in even the slightest bit? I would feel ashamed for "taking" something from you.

Zero you can not "take" Wade's Faith. He wouldn't allow you to do so.

Likewise (I waited to say this) Wade didn't mean to imply that he is better than you. Wade is a pretty humble man- for the most part. If you read his other posts over the past 3-4 years he has repeatedly stated that but for the death of Jesus, he (Wade) is retetched man himself as we all are. That doesn't make him better than you or anyone one else.

Wade I say to you that it takes Revelation for anyone to understand and unless they are looking for answers you can give it to them.

There ARE small evolutions. That is true. More "adaptations" I think. That of course is a far stretch from one "kind" of creature turning into another.
I always hear about scientific proof of evolution, but never see any of the actual proof shown. They keep saying its there, but never show any proof. Using a partial ape skeleton, changing its pelvis and making up feet only shows how far an evolutionist will go to make something fit their preconceived belief. That's not science. That's imagination.
And the foundation of evolution is racism. Darwin believed that black people were closer to pure ape. In the early 1900s a zoo put an aborigine in with the apes, where he was put on display as "close to pure ape". Adolph Hitler was a big believer in evolution. The Germans held the olympics in the 1930s, and Hitler was mad that his "humans" had to compete against Jesse Owens, a black American.
So the whole foundation of the theory is conceived by a racist. Is that what you really want to follow?
Troy makes fun of my belief in the Bible, which was written several thousand years ago. Yet he puts his "faith" in a book written by a racist not even 200 years ago.
If evolution is true, why are there ANY lower life forms still around? Why didn't THEY also evolve?
(I know the answer why)
I saw in the Milwaukee public museum where they had a chicken with super long tail feathers. They must have been at least 3 feet long! They said that was proof of evolution. I asked, "arn't feathers in a chicken's DNA already? It's not like it grew scales or something, it's just long feathers. Besides, how would longer tail feathers be a beneficial thing?" The teacher with her school children there just walked away. She had no answer. The same thing happened with the dark and light colored moths. That was shown as proof. Yet both were 100% moths. Just like black skinned people are the same as white people. Both are pure HUMAN.
And Kevin, thank you for the complement! I really DO care about you! And I KNOW how hard it is to change beliefs that have been ingrained in you since you were young: I didn't become a Christian until I was 21 years old. It took me a while until it sunk in to my thick skull! LOL!
