What is our record on 3rd and 2(or less) and 4th and 2(or less)? I don't recall it being very good, but perhaps you just remember screwing up more than you do making it. Lacy in better shape should certainly help along with a tall TE in Jared Cook.

So one week you are playing the Browns and you score 5 TDs. You go for 2 after each one and make it every time and you win the game 40-0. The next week you play the Seahawks and you score 2 TDs, you go for 2 each time and don't make either one and you lose the game 13-12. Its still great because hell you are 5 of 7 on 2 point conversions on the year and as long as you are over 50% its all good right? Hell yeah, lets go for 2 every time.

As you can see from below, the Packers converted two-point attempts against Seahawks, Vikings, Cardinals, Panthers and Redskins, all of which were in the playoffs.

Seahawks 1 - 1
Lions 0 - 2
Vikings 1 - 1
Cardinals 1 - 1
Panthers 1 - 1

Redskins 1 - 1

I think they should line up to go for two every time. If Aaron believes they have the right call against the D or that he can audible into the right call for the D, go for it. If he's not confident he can make an off sides move, a penalty would stop the play/clock without a time out, and then punt or repeat. 😲 šŸ˜• šŸ˜‚

Heck they may even make 83.33 percent of their tries over the course of the season if they went for it every time (I doubt it but they might) the thing is in some games 1 point doesn't really matter, in some games it does. It doesn't matter if you make 5 of 6 in games you win big if that one you fail to convert on costs you a close one. I don't have a problem if they try it more often but to simply say lets do it every time doesn't make any sense and it has nothing to do with being afraid to pour it on.

As far as McCarthy's comments, the only way he doesn't have an issue going for it every time is if he does go for it every time and we all know he won't so in reality, he does have an issue with going for it every time.

Mathematically, there’s no question that it would be the right call for some teams. Last year across the NFL, kickers went 1,146-for-1,217 (94.2 percent) on extra points, while offenses went 45-for-94 (47.9 percent) on two-point conversions. In other words, an extra point kick produced, on average, 0.942 points, while a two-point conversion attempt produced, on average, 0.958 points. The risks already (slightly) outweigh the rewards of going for two.

beast (12h) : My question is how much do we trust Jenkins? In bad weather, he seemed to struggle a bit with ball control snapping, though he started at OG
beast (12h) : Well Jenkins probably knows he's not getting that 2026 salary number without a new contact... so just trying to get the new contact early
Zero2Cool (17h) : CB Rasul Douglas is visiting the #Seahawks today, per source.
dfosterf (20h) : He's a switch and baiter. Its the same as a bait and switcher except he agreed to the switch first lol
dfosterf (20h) : 6.8 mil raise next year. Those are existing contract numbers
dfosterf (20h) : 12.8 plus 4.8 pro rata signing bonus is 17.6 mil. Top center in the league at 18

dfosterf (12-May) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (12-May) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.

Zero2Cool (7-May) : beast, you're just one R from being voluptuous.
Zero2Cool (7-May) : And now some Packers blogger is like Doubs to Steelers makes sense!!!!
Zero2Cool (7-May) : You saw me Tweet???
beast (7-May) : Supposedly Steelers will be trading WR George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 3rd and late round pick swap
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.
Zero2Cool (5-May) : If I were to "Google" it, then I wouldn't read it in your words.
Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
