A miracle tie, the adrenaline is running, the Cardinals are groggy, they haven't punted in the 2nd half, go for 2 Mike, finish the effing game there and now, in the state of euphoria we had Rodgers could have run over the entire Cardinals defense alone.

Every time the players pull a play Mike ruins it, he called a conservative 2nd half when the passing game with Janis and Abby was working, he switched from man to zone and Arizona never punted again, my heart is broken, go for 2 Mike.

Go for 2...

I assume they would have, if they had a play. Mike's aggressive like that.

I guess they just didn't have a specific play in which they were confident.

I felt the exact opposite. I felt like we had a major advantage in OT, especially had we won the coin toss. The coin did us no favors, there. We had all the momentum. Cards were reeling... we were energized. Just too bad the wrong unit took the field first for OT.

We're TERRIBLE in short yardage and in the redzone and a 2 point conversion is both of those things. I know we got the one in Washington but the Redskins D is a sieve. I can't even begin to imagine the fallout had we gone for it and not gotten it. Losing that way would've been worse than how we actually lost.

Too bad we didn't have a legit TE...those kinda help down in the redzone. We had to settle for Figgys early... if those are TD's we walk out victorious. It's amazing how often we see the same thing over and over and over in Green Bay. Nothing ever changes...well, except for the play of the O this year.

The D is a mid tier unit but they played well today. I expect them to be in the 20's for D but they ended 15th. I recall Barfarn and I getting into it and him saying we were going to be Top 5 and I said we'd be bottom third. I think sschind said we'd likely be in the middle of those two and he was right on.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

We all know they'd have done that Kuhn dive play.

Eddie was getting hit 4 yards in the back field all night. He had that one good run and that was about it.

Dom Capers decides man or zone, not Mike McCarthy.

I was fine going for two or kicking extra point. Helluva game by the Packers vs the team most said was most complete NFL team. Good game, not the outcome I wanted.

For Mike's teams, that IS a good game. 👎

We have to admit that Arizona is a better team than GB.

- The offense wasn't working,I don't think the plan in OT was to throw 50 yard bombs to Janis.
- The defense wasn't working, Arizona didn't punt in the 2nd half.

So how do you defeat a better team in OT if your offense is not working and your defense is not working?

We had a chance going for 2 and ending a ridiculous game right there, you go to OT when you think you are the better team it was a mistake.

Until they go for two and miss, than you would be hearing how they should have just taken the FG and gone to OT. Sometimes they cannot win with second guessers.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
Zero2Cool (27-Jan) : Packers coach Matt LaFleur hires Luke Getsy as senior assistant, extends Rich Bisaccia's deal

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.

Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
