It's simple. Look at how often our receivers are totally blanketed by the coverage. At this point it might be better off for Rodgers to just gun it at them and hope for the best because we all known McCarthy isn't going to change anything. It's all about winning your 1 on 1's, regardless if they have the talent to do so.

Also, if I see them run that useless TE screen to RR again I'm going to lose it. Seriously I think that play has averaged negative yardage all year 🤬

Aaron's play is not at the level we expect. But neither is Cobb's, or lacy's Or Starks', Or Sitton's, Or basically every other player on offense either. to say Is beyond ridiculous.

Example-Isolating the Nelson variable:
Surely Nelson’s loss hurt; but IMO it’s not enough to make the Offense go from first to worst; maybe first to 2nd or 3rd; hell maybe even 5th; but not to near the bottom. So let’s test the variable:

In 2012 Jordy missed 4 games and played a only a few snaps in 2 others. In those 6 games Packer O averaged 366 yards, slightly over the season average and Green was the RB; Finley played 58% of snaps w/ Crabtree and Williams at TE; for 3 games WR were Jones and Cobb [Driver and Boykin were 3 and 4] and then Jennings played in 3 games. The OL was a hodge-podge disaster mess of musical chair injuries, the primary OL players: Newhouse 6 games; Sitton 6 games; Saturday 5 games; EDS 5 games; Barclay 4 games; Lang 3 [2 at G, 1 at T]; Bulaga 1 game. In Game 12 v. 10-6 Vikings [#16 defense in yards], AR was without Nelson and Jennings; Green was starting RB; Finley was in on 61% of snaps and his OL was Newhouse, EDS, Saturday, Sitton, Barclay and the O gained 435 yards. This is why he was worth 20M in 2012.

The pass and run blocking was worse; separation was worse and play calling the same, compared to 2015-the difference was Rodgers’ MVP play, NOT Nelson being out.

That’s how you do it:

Now has Cobb been perfect? No, duh, of course not; but that is not what you should be looking at. You need to argue that Cobb is playing WORSE. If he is playing the same as last year then there is no causal relationship between his causing the O to stink. God help us; but one thing I agreed with Uffda on was that Cobb was overpaid; Uffda said Cobb did get separation of an elite WR; and he was correct!. Find a way to get any game last year and JUST WATCH THE GAME, Cobb was rarely wide open unless there was a scramble drill. He had a higher drop rate in 2014 as well: 6 drops in ’15 and 6 drops in 2014 [on 2 less targest]; he had 1 drop in 2013 [missed some games] and 9 in 2012 [and he had most of his 9 drops in the 6 weeks mentioned above].

And as Cobb has gotten healthier in 2015; the O has declined. Cobb is not the issue!

Sitton is not as good, agreed; but he is not the issue that causes our O to go from first to almost last the 2015. OL play is equal or better than the OL play of ALL other AR years except 2014. Agreed Starks/Lacy not as good as 2014; but we've had worse RB's all but maybe 2013 and 14 of all other AR's years.

Again any one of these issues might explain us dropping a notch or 2; But is is AR alone that has caused us to drop 15-20 spots on Offense.

dfosterf (42m) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (43m) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (1h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (1h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (1h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (1h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (2h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (2h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (2h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (2h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (2h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (2h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (2h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (4h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (4h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (4h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (20h) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
