No...READ Demovsky's piece if you want to read RIDICULOUSNESS. To post it and be proud of it is insane squared.

Yes, I honestly think that you and some others are happy we have a lot of good players over having more elites because of your worry about the cap.

If we had a Dez type talent at WR...are you freaking kidding me? We could have 4 guys as average as Davante Adams be super at WR.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I dont care about Rob's article...I'm commenting on what youve said.

Read sschind's post, you can thumb your nose at the cap because you're a fan, not a GM. Some of us choose to understand the reality Ted and 31 other GMs live by. You are governed by a budget that has to influence every decision you make.

I don't want Dez because I don't like the idea of hiring babysitters for my employees I'm paying millions to because they can't act like adults in society...but other elite players, yes, give me as many as feasible. Draft well, and hopefully all picks become elite. I want Randall, Lacy, Elliot, and Pennell to thrive. Why would I oppose affordable excellence?

This is a sophmoric discussion on par with epic debates such as water is wet and the sun is hot. However, it's like watching Miss South Carolina discuss maps...it's painful to watch but I can't turn away.

If every drafted player becomes an All Pro, we won't have to worry about affording them all because the new drafted players will also be All Pro. Kind of a failure in logic, yes?

I hope they become studs too for the next 3 years. Cheap productive labor replenished each year sounds like a great way to win if you ask me.

You are probably right though about the other part.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
