I don't know if it's that easy. Sounds good in Madden, but in-season trades aren't that common. And it would probably take a bit to get a player up to speed.

Honestly, I think the best option might be to see if ol' Pickett is in decent shape.

Did not think about Ryan Pickett.

I'm hoping Pennel finally will see the field this week against The Lions.

Even if The Packers would bring Pickett back, he wouldn't be ready for a couple of weeks.

I read where The Packers D tightened up after Dom decided to go with the base 3-4 and only sub in on passing downs.

Those 1st 3 series were pretty damn scary, but after that the D shut down The Jets running game and got enough pressure on The Jets QB to cause him to have a few misses make a couple of mistakes.

Detroit is going to be a completely different game plan then the 1st 2 weeks.

Will be interesting to watch how The Packers play it.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Might as well post these here. Bunch of gifs I decided to post/steal from another forum. Get'em while they're hot! You can see the success they had in stopping the run in the 3-4. I suppose if they played that and then went with the Quad package in passing downs. The whole, super secret, Cold War paranoia about not reveling anything might have backfired a little in that the guys aren't comfortable in it.

Most of those aren't really 3-4, it looks like the 4-3 group with DE standing up. Clay was still off the line and one of peppers/Neal/Perry had their hand in the dirt as a normal 4-3 end and the other was just standing up on the other edge.

Watching the result of these, I am even more of the mind, that a 4-3 with Clay away from the line where he can be moved from side to side and blitz from anywhere would be our best option.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
