I have seen a few knee injuries happen.Sometimes they go into shock and have to be carted away in an ambulance. Sometimes they get up and keep playing.

When I tore my MCL, I got up and finnished the inning behind the plate. I think I even threw someone out stealing. It didn't get bad until I sat down between innings.

If the joint isn't displaced when the ligament tears, there seems to be less pain and shock. From my small sample of expiriances.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

I do have to say NOBODY has a worse staff at providing accurate medical information. It would not surprise to see Lyerla need major reconstructive surgery after initially announcing it as a sprain. It seems our staff is in the 1920's as far as technology based on what we see get reported.

You can cite multiple cases of the Packers underreporting injury severity only to find out it's season ending. It'd be nice if they could get a handle on injuries right after they happen but they often seem clueless.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

That's before they got the shut up about this signal from someone upstairs (most assumed the head coach).

Don't get me wrong, the Packers do constantly lie. But it also seems like they have more issues than just that.

No evidence whatsoever, except for a bunch of ACLs that suddenly pop, with no trauma to the joint. I mean really. These guys keep on practicing. LOL

And that's just the ACLs, we're not even including all the hammys.

But none of us expect accountability. Of course it's not Mike's fault. And when we field a JV team in the playoffs this year and get our asses kicked, it won't be his fault either.

As others noted, if you're going to blame Abby's ACL on nutrition, strength/condition, etc. how can you attribute that to the Packers when he has practiced with the team maybe 3 weeks cumulatively thus far?

I'm too lazy to look up stats or examples of other team's injuries, but I think the Cowboys actually led the league in hamstring pulls resulting in lost playing time last season. I'm not trying to dismiss injuries to bad luck, but at the same time, the grass isn't as green as we think in other people's lawns.

I need to bump this guy off and take his job ;)

And Ill state this - they need to get a chiro there that works there and thats it. All these dudes with bulged discs in their LB and Neck. Probably a chiro that just stops in and adjs a few peeps isnt going to help with potential ACL injuries, hammy injuries etc etc ...
Unless he is a dedicated chiro that is into that stuff.

and ya ACL injuries can be prevented - Im not an expert but like I mentioned last month - went to a seminar where they talked about this very thing and they stated were having talks with the denver broncos staff.

packerfanoutwest (23-Apr) : JW is done......stick a fork in him

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
