Dude needs to step up and protect his players.
No accountability for the defensive staff, no accountability for the trainers.

Is massage therapy being utilized for the players and, if not, why?
Yes, Stacey, we absolutely use massage therapy for our players. It is one of many options we provide to our players to help them stay flexible and healthy. The massages are typically provided on off days. During the first week of training camp, the players were given the day off on Tuesday and we had several massage therapists in our facility to work with the players. Yoga is also very popular with our players. In addition, you may have read that we recently hired a nutritionist, Adam Korzun, to insure our players are eating healthy. We also have a chiropractor, Dr. Michael Zoelle, who comes to Lambeau Field regularly to work with many of our players.
What else is needed? This is a serious question.
With the new rules, seems to me, the players need to take it upon themselves to work out year round, and to be in the best shape possible before camp opens.
Accountability should start with the players.
The Packer organization is making all this available to the players, these are grown men, if they don't take advantage of these options, then how can you hold Mike and the training staff accountable?
Injuries are going to happen, the odds should be turning in The Packers favor.
Abbrederis may have caught a bad break, but as Dakota T mentioned, could be a blessing in disguise, a year on IR, a chance to work with the strength coaches may not be a bad thing.
