I can't see this happening until maybe next season. There can't be any way Finley is ready to play football again, and I doubt Ted will take the chance this soon after his surgery.

Personally, I'm not all that keen about him coming back to GB. He had ample chances to show he was a top flight talent and never really did. To me, that was disappointing. I expected way more from him when he was healthy. Now? I'd prefer we move on and save $5M for Nelson or Cobb.

I don't see it. Just over 4 catches per game, just over 2 first downs per game, 3 TDs in 6 games played. And, to think those are his high numbers compared to other season averages. IMO, he was never worth the dough, never delivered to value, always potential. 6 seasons of potential. Time to move on.

Oh, I agree, completely. Last season was looking to be his best. I was just speaking more to the entirety of his 6 year tenure in GB. To me, he seemed to never really put it all together to be one of the best in the NFL, though many view him as such, especially some on our coaching staff.

He does have freakish ability, and was looking to have matured. Maybe he does line up with GB again. I'm not against it, but feel those monies might be better used elsewhere.
