I am not sure how long this has been bothering him, but I guarantee that he aggravated it in that last game. He attempted a tackle after an INT and he landed pretty much the same as Rodgers did against Tampa. Weight on his outstretched arm. They showed him a bunch on the sideline holding and rubbing his shoulder area.

sucks. but maybe this will be a good thing for him. he said he doesn't want to undergo surgery in order to keep playing. maybe this will kind of force him to not play. i know it's not my place, but i think he needs to stop playing football. for the sake of his body. for the sake of his legacy. for the sake of his mental health. the man needs to move on.

No one knows for sure when he tore it. So it's hard to say how much of the "Bad Brett" was caused by the tear.Again though, if it was THAT painful, he should have taken himself out for the sake of the TEAM. If you know you are doing more harm then good, why destroy your team for personal gain?JMO
