Casey Hayward. Green Bay Packers. Injuries. While Hayward is only about 1/15th of the injury situation that has once more plagued the Packers training camp, the fact that he hasn't touched a single blade of grass outside (or inside) the Don Hutson Center is downright sad. He's the kind of player who will make the [...]

What an absolutely horrible and sensationalized headline.

Anyway, I'd like to see what he can do this year. I'm not saying last year was a fluke, but keeping up that level of play now they know who he is.

Also, his stats at the combine were mediocre, to say the least. I'd like to see him up against some better physical specimins. I think that's what other teams will try to do, as well. Get him in some other match-ups.

That said, he was amazing last year. If he can keep on growing he'll be one heck of a corner.

One of the things I liked best about him is he showed he's a willing tackler. He's going to be a phenomenal slot CB and I think he should stay there even though he showed last year he can play outside as well. I think he has more of a chance to impact the game playing the role he did last year.

Can't believe this incredible player is being lambasted because of an injury. Ridiculous.

I have zero doubts about him being able to walk onto the field and make an impact when he heals. The guy who wrote that article is a dipshit.

And yet the argument exists he can be. Ultimately I will rank Bulaga higher but his injury situation is incredibly untimely to say the least. He has taken a long time to get back just like DuJuan.

The title is true, him not participating in practice thus far is disappointing. It's a different kind of disappointing (vs. practicing but sucking, etc), but disappointing none-the-less. It would be incredibly disappointing if Aaron Rodgers wasn't on the field, as well as others. I don't think they were trying to frame it as he is being a wuss or anything. I guess I just didn't read that much into the article as others did.

dfosterf (3h) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (3h) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (13h) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (16h) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (18h) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (18h) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (18h) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (18h) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (18h) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (19h) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (19h) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (19h) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (19h) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
