ProFootballFocus  came out with the draft needs:

It is DL based and listed in amongst the other NFC needs.

Early Round Option: Margus Hunt, SMU
There are a lot of mixed opinions about Hunt, but his size and potential have him in the first round conversation. The Packers will have a shot at him at the back end of the first, but they’ll have to be patient as he continues to grow as a football player.

Mid/Late Round Option: William Gholston, Michigan State
Another high-potential player, Gholston was one of Michigan State’s biggest recruits in recent years, but his on-field performance has been inconsistent. He looks the part at 6-foot-7, 280 pounds with his best pass rush work coming when he attacks through the middle of the offensive line. The size and skill set should work well as a 3-4 defensive end.

Wow wpr, those opinions are all over the place. Did any of them watch a Packers game?

DE, NT, S, C, LB, TE, LT, RB, WR.

I would say this is pretty much the row. In terms of rank, I think the first 3 are tops and maybe interchangeable. The last 6 are all nearly as important. We have more needs than picks, but if we can get starters at those first 3 or 4 positions, I think our team is right back in it.

An argument can be made that ILB was not on the list either as most of these sites mentioned OLB.

Just to split hairs a bit I think there is a difference between "needs" and "want". GB may want another WR but they don't need one this year. Same can be said for TE. If a stud falls to them it won't shock me to see Uncle Ted grab him. After all in a pass based offense you can't have too many weapons and injuries do happen. It is always nice to have replacements ready when the front line players go down.

based on your list above I would go:

DE, S, NT
The reason for the switch is we have a starter at NT. A replacement for Pickett is a need but more so next year than this year. We need quality starter at S. Maybe McMillian and Jennings are going to be great players and make us forget Collins in all his glory, in 3 or 4 years. I don't see it today.

C, RB, WR
EDS just might be the player to fill the C role but I would sure feel better if they had someone else with EDS as the interior line backup. The RB position always feels like GB stuck it together with duct tape bailing twine and bubble gum. Perhaps Harris is the answer. He has not played enough for me to think that he is. I don't dislike Starks or Green but neither has stood out over an entire season for me to say they can be the lead RB on a championship team. I already mentioned we can always use more WR.

TE, QB, OLB, OG
Finley is going to be gone after this season. If he players great he is going to want big money and Uncle Ted will take a pass on him. If he players poor he is going to want decent money and Uncle ted is going to take a pass on him. Quarless may we be the heir apparent but coming back off his injury makes me really wonder what he is capable of doing. I don't mind it if GB drafts a QB every year. (In the 5-7 rounds.) Perry should be a decent bookend to CM3. But if they can land a pass rush specialist in the mold of KGB i would be thrilled. If Gb adds a center EDS and Barclay can back up the G position. If they don't add a C then they are a little light at OG.

CB, OT, ILB
There is plenty of depth at these positions IF everyone is healthy. That is a big if and nothing is ever a 100% certainty.
First they need to resign Shields. Williams needs to bounce back. Hayward and House to continue to develop.
Next Bulaga and Sherrod to come back from injury. I was not keen on Datko but he could be a decent backup this year along with Newhouse and Barclay. It will be interesting to see what happens if Sherrod is not able to go what happens at the LT position. Bulaga moving over and Barclay taking RT or Newhouse or Datko winning the LT spot.
Finally Bishop and Smith need to return strong from injury. They along with Hawk getting the majority of snaps. It will also be fun to watch Manning, Jones and Lattimore fight it out for the last spot on the team. I don't think they will keep anymore than 1 of them even with Jones' new contract unless they put Jones on the OLB depth chart.

Well said wpr. I agree with most all of it. I know we don't need a starter at NT, but we do need starting level talent there to work a real rotation with no drop off in performance.

The injury factor, and so many important players returning with giant question marks about their level of play is troubling to me. Yeah, we do have that many needs. At least we should prepare. I wonder about Bulaga, Quarless, Bishop, Sherrod, even House a bit with the shoulder. I'm confident about Perry being able to come back strong.

We've never been able to count on Starks or Green at RB. We could use better play from Newhouse, Finley. I think Jones will be up for renewal after the season, that's why I listed WR.

I would love to get a real 3-4 DE, two would be even better.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?
