Authority is delegated, responsibility isn't. Our defensive failures are on Murphy, Thompson, McCarthy and Capers. If they were running a sub squadron, (for example- non Marine reference for once, lol) chances are decent they would have all been relieved of their duties.

Williams, Raji) ended up for some reason or another playing some of the worst football in the league at their respective positions. That's gotta be pretty tough to overcome and not all the coordinators fault. Not to mention only having 1 legitimate pass rusher.

We're fortunat to have Capers IMO. I understand wanting to be more aggressive, I feel the same way myself at times, but when there is not the talent to back it up it can get real ugly, real quick. I'm hoping things will change for the better this year with the influx of new players/talent.
