I have never said I like Barry. I symapathize with him because his job was impossible to pull off, especially with the obstructionist he faces in the House.

Obama is a big government, war-mongering corporatist just like his predecessor. Nothing changed, yet he ran on hope and change.

For the more important issues, they don't differ in the slightest. Sending Americans into useless wars? Both. Bailing out mega-corporations with our hard-earned tax money? Both. Following the Constitution? Neither. Doing something about the debt that YOUR daughters will inherit? Neither.

This has nothing to do with obstructionism.

George W. Bush was a candidate in 2008? I thought he exhausted both his terms already? :)

And Zero, Barry Sanders was a punk. He walked away in the prime of his career cause the pussy didn't want to play for a bunch of losers anymore. What kind of sack of shit has a playoff game and has a stat line of 13 rushes for -1 yards? Yeah, I said it. [neener]

(swallowing my first tempted response)

(swallowing second tempted response)

Someone as cool as Mia should never be kicked to the curb.

Unfortunately, the reality is that the most likely "non-discriminatory" result of Obamacare is that there are going to be more people on the curb more often medical-wise. Bank on it.

Just ask the Brits.

Sorry, DakotaT, but if Cash-for-Clunkers was a 10 on the boneheadedness scale, the bank bailouts a 15, and quantitative easing I & II a 20, Obamacare is going to end up being a 50.

Now if you really want to show how George was even dumber than Barry, your best bet might be pointing toward John Roberts. Put Roberts in one hand, Sotomayor/Kagan and the other....that one could go either way.

The "greed party"???
As far as i have seen it, BOTH parties are the "greed party".
But only one pretends it HATES rich people.....even though the higher ups in that party are all rich greedy people themselves.
Tell me that Obama isn't "rich" by normal standards. Plus he NEVER will have to worry about his, or any of his family's health care or prescriptions.
Same with the Clintons......and all the other "fat cat" rich democrats.
It just frustrates me that the ones that are flinging the crap (i mean the rich dems, not Dakota) are also the ones that don't mind filling their own pockets. They just play on the "we are one of you AVERAGE people, fighting the mean RICH people" B.S. that the weak minded fall for all the time.
"CHANGE!" Yup.......we are MUCH farther in debt in the 3 and a half years Obama has been in office then when the guy he complained about (Bush) was in office.
Can you imagine what Obama will do if reelected? I mean, not having to give a damn WHAT he does because he doesn't have to worry about getting his job for a third term.
It scares me.
"Change";.....yes, we have change. Unfortunately, it's all negative change.
I wish he WOULD have been different then the "normal" politician, instead of being like all the rest. Making promises, and never following through.
It would surprise me if 20 years from now America is still here as a "free" nation. I think the crash of 1929 is going to seem like just a blip compared to what's ahead.

I have NO faith in our government anymore.

Ahem.

It was about as dumb a boondoggle as there is.

Fortunately, as such things go (see, e.g. "quantitative easing"), it was a small program.

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin. You're such a smart guy in general. I just don't understand how you do not see how stupid His Highness's economic policies are.
