The man had the surgery so he could come back to play football, he is cleared by the doctors but yet the cold hearted Ted Thompson all of a sudden becomes huge hearted and worried about a players health. Get ready to see Collins in blue and silver or playing down in Chicago. As Arrigo said they packers are looking to extend some players this year but we are close to the cap right now. The part I am wondering like play2win brought up, is how strapped are we on the cap room?

Packers FS Nick Collins (neck surgery), "bouncing off the walls" in anticipation of returning to the NFL, is expected to push coach Mike McCarthy and GM Ted Thompson to play if he's given the green light from doctors later this month.
McCarthy has made it clear that all parties involved must be in agreement for Collins to return to the Packers.
