Well, if I recall correctly, he was involved in a couple of the cheap shots against Favre in the 2009 title game. And given Goodell's tough sanctions so far, I think it's a pretty good bet that there are going to be player suspensions coming as well. Everyone's pointing at Vilma, but I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be more than one.

I personally feel everyone in the meeting where the bounties were discussed should be suspended, period. You can't say Player A delivered a cheap shot because of a bounty, but Player B did not for whatever reason.
Who's to say that a player who delivered cheap shots against a player simply just does not like the player? Hines Ward, James Harrison are two players that come to mind.
If I'm 60 minutes from a Super Bowl birth and the other team has a QB who's playing better than everyone at his position, yes, when I hit him, I am going to want him to have stay on the bench. I'm not talking career ending, or nothing like that. I'm saying, I want to hit him so hard that if he does come back on the field, that fool is hearing footsteps and when he closes his eyes, he sees the numbers one MY jersey.
