first of all, my dear male friends, contraceptives are not JUST for birth control. many women obtain health benefits simply by taking them. others have painful menses (& i mean squeeze yer nuts for you guys) kinda pain - bcp's very often help with that.
so call some woman a slut because she wants oral contraceptives paid for because you're a damn neanderthalic idiot who is so closed-minded that the only possible reason she could want bcp's is to have sex & alot of it - way to go there rushy boy. and also way to go catholic church for completely ignoring the other health benefits of bcp's. bury those heads some more! wow!!!

Nothing wrong with sounding bitchy as I agree with you. I knew girls who used them to regulate their weight (medical issue) and girls who used them to regulate their periods (medical issue). One extreme example was a girl I knew who was on the pill and not even sexually active because her periods went from 14 days to 35 and gave her no warning before pills regulated them. I can understand the "I don't want the government to pay for other people's medical issues" argument. I'm fine with that. But it has to be consistently applied.

The other thing is WPR is right that birth control is far, far cheaper than the latter. People will have sex. We're programmed for it. I'm sluttier than any of you, except probably NSD. (I jest). But there's a double standard that that makes me cool but makes women who have sex with people they barely know "sluts." That's sexist.
