HUGE difference, H-U-G-E!! A coach can say that publicly, fine. But a PLAYER saying that? Sorry, that is not cool. You want the players to want to contribute, to make a difference on the field. Not just to be able to walk off after every play.
A player who's injured should be saying things like he's glad to be on the field and can't wait to make a difference and help the team win. Mike Neal, from other comments of his, has a defeated attitude.
Edit, that comparison really bugs me. Jermichael Finley was boasting about his YOTTO or whatever. He was talking about being the best TE in the game, etc... Mike McCarthy responding to that by saying they just wanted him to play in all the games this year and that was his only goal for Finley.
It's really annoying when people take something out of context and try using it in an argument as if it's identical.
