Packers might get a shot at Jenkins 


Explains his contract status in the article. He is 31, but no question he can still play. I don't think the opportunity presents itself but if it did I would try to get him under a reasonable contract. I'm sure he would like to play for GB again.

He's a classy person and would be an immediate fix. I have no idea why he wasn't even APPROACHED.

I think he'd come back in a heartbeat, but the Packers will have to obviously pay him a good sum of money. He's coming off a pretty good year for the Eagles, so Jenkins will not be a cheap signing. In other words, pay him and any hurt feelings go away. The NFL is a business and most players understand this.

This is how I feel. We dropped from the #2 D to the #19 D with Jenkins' departure + Collins' injury. Not saying that those were the ONLY problems with our D this year, but they're definitely culprits.

Sometimes I think you, Dr. Death, and me are only here for common sense reasons. Resign a player that we let walk a year ago because he drew a line in the sand and wouldn't budge. Fuckin assinine. Neal didn't work out, but did that mean Wynn and Wilson had to both stop developing? OTAs would have helped those younger guys.
