Agreed. Who do you think Ron Wolf would select at #30 that would help the most to elevate the Packers to top three ranking?

If Ted Thompson really wants to address some needs, then make some trades and go get some guys. But I hope he doesn't reach for need. That's a sure way to have a draft class that only yields one or two decent players and the rest of them are out of the league in three years.

I'm not sure Wolf would waste #30 on a Tight End considering the promise Richard Rodgers has shown also considering he was a 3rd round pick last season. Wolf also believed you needed three years to truly evaluate a player after being drafted.

Aaron believes in Richard, why don't we?

Ron would trade up and get us his ILB. I'm not sure who he'd want but I know he got burned by the Ravens when they took Ray Lewis right before us, and I'm sure he remembers Brett going right before him (as a scout) too. Ron would look and see that Clay was being wasted inside. He'd go and get himself an ILB...he would've already filled that hole in FA...not wait and hope he finds a guy in the draft. I think he'd get a 2nd ILB with 30...or grab Maxx Williams to give us a true presence at TE.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Once again a thread has been HI-jacked by Uffda .

What would Ron Wolf do with pick 30?

Easy question to answer.

There is no right or wrong, just speculation.

Those decisions could have been discussed, but as always, Uffda has to spin the subject 15 different ways and screw what could have been a fine discussion.

Even when he has been shot down at every turn, he just keeps spewing his bullshit.

Most of you would consider last year a smashing success...Ron would've ripped it to shreds. That's the difference...what you are willing to say is okay. It is not okay to try being anything other than dominant. Ted Thompson ain't interested in that...he's interested in long term competitiveness.
