don't they normally wait until after the superbowl to announce?

I wonder if one reason for the drops is that šŸ‡¦šŸ‡· throws such a bullet. Brees has a really soft touch (which of course is easier to intercept as well).

Not saying one is better than the other. Just bringing this up.

My mistake, I missed it when you said total touchdowns including passing and rushing. I think you could make Drew Brees look less worthy if you included turnovers, not just interceptions while you're at it. Slant away!!

A sack is not a pressure, it is a sack for crying out loud! A pressure is flushing the QB out of the pocket. Unless we are changing definitions of common football terms. Which if we are, please cite the source so I can update my ass on the new "lingo".

Pressured - quarterback flushed out of the pocket
Hurried - quarterback threw the ball with defenders in his face
Sacked - quarterback tackled behind line of scrimmage

Does Webster have a dictionary on football terms or do we just make'em up to suit our statistical agenda? :)

There is a stat called Total QB Pressures. It includes Hurries, Sacks and Knockdowns. Sometimes it is referred to as Total QB Disruptions.

One more stat for you to memorize.

Tom Silverstein wrote a very reasoned, articulate article on why he cast his MVP vote for Aaron Rodgers over Drew Brees.

Something he doesn't talk about that Dan Patrick mentioned this morning is that the Saints have Darren Sproles, who finished this season with an NFL-record 2,696 all-purpose yards. The Packers don't have a weapon like that who can command several phases of the game.

Also, Aaron Rodgers is a threat to run, which Drew Brees most decidedly is not.

In what could be an early preview of MVP voting results, Rodgers has trumped Drew Brees in the All Pro voting, results of which were released today. Rodgers beat Brees 47.5 to 2.5 to be the 1st team all pro quarterback.

#1....ESPN's QBR rating is total crap....throw it out.

#2....14-2 or 15-1, The only other stat that matters.

MVP by unanimous vote....Aaron Rodgers, well probably not unanimous because some clown down New Orleans way will just have to give his vote to Breese.
