I'm not singling out Finley here. If a ball goes into a receiver's hands, it's his job to catch it. End of story.

And my therapist said that that birthmark is beautiful.

However, simply because a ball is touched doesn't mean the pass couldn't have been put in a more advantageous position for the receiver. You seem to be ignorant on the blatant fact that there was pass interference on the play and refuse to account for it. Err, it's not a fact cuz it wasn't called, lol. You get the damn idea!!!

I like how we are bashing Finley for one play that he messed up on in this game. He didn't get many targets in the Raiders game. In fact that play is the only one that I remember. But I do remember him making some good blocks, which is also a job for the TE.

Well Grant played well, Driver played well, Bush played well, Hawk didn't play, Packers are 13-0.

SOMEONE HAS TO BE THE FALL GUY!!!!!!! Even in a 46-16 victory, SOMEONE HAS TO BE BLAMED!!!!

I really didn't want to mention the fact that if Aaron would not have thrown behind Nelson then Kuhn the 2 previous plays, the Finley play would have never happened.(go ahead bash away at me but facts are facts)

I went back and viewed the play frame by frame, the Oakland db, found the ball then turned face to face with Finley, put his hands directly in front of Finley's face, inside of Finley's arms and hands, Jermicheal was able to close his hands around the ball but could not bring it in to his body, the ball slipped out of his hands and went off his chest right into the defenders gut, where he controlled it before he was thrown out of bounds by Finley.

Jermicheal may have been able to controll the ball, but he was falling backwards and his momentum took him away from the ball. A little higher throw and the Finley may have been able to snatch the ball and keep it away from the defender.

IMHO it was just a great defensive play by the Oakland db.

Another note: it's really easy to say what Finley "could" have done when we are watching a replay in slow motion. The fact is that it was a bang bang play and a really good play by the defender. Why don't we just give credit where credit is due?

The DB also grabbed Finly's face mask before the ball got there.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

A great play by the DB? Only in the sense he didn't get caught. It was a flagrant case of pass interference.

William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.
