I never said anything about Dan Marino having anything on Aaron Rodgers other than a quicker release. I'm not sure why you needed to go there. The statement said he has the quickest release the NFL has seen, or something to that effect. I commented on THAT statement. I didn't see Dan Marino was more mobile or touched on anything you rambled on about. Go piss in someone else's Cheerios 'mate!

I'm agreeing with you amigo. I said Marino's got the fastest release but 🇦🇷 has Marino beat on everything else.

I completely agree. Arodge was a disaster when he first came out. However, our GM was very shrewd in his selection of his new Head Coach. I've said this for years: If the 49ers would have been able to hold onto Mike McCarthy as their OC, Alex Smith would be as good as Arodge is now. But Uncle Ted knew what he needed to do, and did it.
THANKS TED THOMPSON!

Rodgers came out of college a very accurate and extremely hard working QB. He was driven and focused.

His mobility and athleticism has been the difference in many games.

It helps a great deal to be on a team coached by MM, but the talent is inherent in Rodgers. You can't take a guy who isn't accurate and make him an accurate QB. You can do some minor improvement, but you can't change the Character of a QB.

Smith has only been successful when they limit his downfield throws. He just doesn't have the accuracy. MM couldn't make him accurate no matter how much time he spent with him. MM could probably help him with his command of the game, reads, anticipation, adjustments etc. But he can't take a guy without accuracy and give it to him.

I think Rodgers is better with MM, but I don't think that it is all McCarthey.

Hell, Joe Namath had a quicker release than Aaron Rodgers.

Namath was not one of the all time greats, but to say that he was below average is absurd.

My original comment was in reference to Namath's quick release, and that Dexter, rivaled Marino's very, very closely.

Did anyone else see them break down time to release with a clock? Rodgers and Marino were pretty much identical. I think Rodgers was 0.01 seconds faster on the clips they showed.
