Looks like Brandon Saine could be leapfrogging Grant to get a shot on third downs.

Ryan Grant rarely even plays on 3rd down.

William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Fontenot acknowledged that it would be tough to find a lot of snaps for Saine because of James Starks and Ryan Grant are ahead of him. The team remains committed to Grant, but given McCarthy's comments it's not hard to see that Saine will get a chance to show what he can do sometime soon.

It is not going to happen anytime soon but if he earns more PT great. Give it to him.

I've been waiting for this guy to make some sort of appearance. I like seeing Big Ten players succeed in the NFL. I doubt he gets any kind of shot if Alex Green didn't really get much before his injury.
