Nagler has an interesting article about
Arodge playing more cautiously with a lead in the second half. I know these forums go through these phases where suddenly everyone has to agree with everyone and anyone who has a discordant view gets vilified, and I don't mean to go soft on you and start caving in under pressure to conform. But Nagler does make an interesting point here.
Maybe it's not that Mike McCarthy gets conservative. Maybe they're not going into a "lull," or whatever you want to call it, as much as they're just playing smart football, especially on the road.
I think Nagler makes a very interesting point here, and I think I agree with him if his observations are correct. I haven't gone back and rewatched games to be sure. Not sure I completely agree though. We'll see as the season goes on.
