Don't waist your time. Tiny nuts Sanders never tackled anybody. The blood and guts players prior to the 70's are rolling in their fricken graves.

As for Williams, he was a semi-finalist last year and I'm betting he makes it within the next 5 years, so he doesn't count (we're talking about Sanders compared to non-HoF players).

My point.. it was more flash/hype that got Sanders in verse DB talent.

Actually Williams has the more comparable stats.. and has been passed over a number of times.

Deion Sanders had a major flaw in his game, tackling, which should have excluded him from being a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Again.. Sanders belongs in the hall.. but without his return game (kick/punt) just on defense alone there are just as good of players out there as CB's that are not in the hall.

Which is the point.. he wasn't the God he is made out to be at CB.

To my knowledge.. the Hall is based on performance.. hype should have little to do with the argument.. but just a the Pro Bowl is nothing more than a popularity contest.. the Hall isn't much different.

It shouldn't be.. but is.

Again, I repeat, he changed the way his opposition approached the game, thus gets him in the Hall.

Hayes not in and Sanders is in defeats that argument cleanly.

Because I don't even know them or their play shows you that they weren't anywhere NEAR as feared as Neon.
