I get what you're saying, but... has there been any indication that they're going to do surgery?
Is a disc problem even something that will heal naturally?

It appears the nfl tries to be deceptive with their reporting of injuries (for whatever reason) - like back spasms = lower back disc bulge, neck stinger = nerve inpingement which again is often caused by a disc bulge.
Im a chiropractor and Id say 60%+ of the people I see their symptoms are from a disc bulge. If Id tell them 'oh your bleeped your going to have to quit work or your activities' Id probably be out of a job or IMO doing the patient wrong.
I dont know much about collins - I just dont want to see him go to the wayside like some of these players seem to do with IMO injuries that could get helped.
and ya I help people with disc bulges all the time ... although most are not athletes but IMO if they were they would probably recover much quicker. Not to say these people dont have to be careful and do certain things to help themselves...
then again I have not seen the mri - but either way there are things that can help disc bulges which does not involve surgery.
Isnt that how it goes that ... out for season then surgery then maybe play or not then perhaps done?
