I hope taking the season off will mean that Collins’ career is as long and dominate as it would have been without the injury, whether he’s with the Packers or not.

I don’t think we’ll see Thompson make any major moves or acquisitions unless one of the guys filling in for Collins gets hurt.

According to this, he does NOT have stenosis. So that's good. VERY good. Still, I don't like how this is playing out. Hope he can play again.

and as far as stenosis goes - errr whatever ... read below

All of these diagnosis are based on an orthopedist's point of view which is - problem = fix with something that is outside the body (like a knife etc) ...

how about they get some peep in there that will treat the body as sacred and heal naturally.

Going to miss collins - damn his SB int was a game clencher.

I get what you're saying, but... has there been any indication that they're going to do surgery?

Is a disc problem even something that will heal naturally?

The thing that scares me the most is "it is to early to tell" that is a huge red flag statement.

Not necessarily. It always takes days to weeks for the inflammation in a central nervous system injury to subside to the point that they can make an accurate assessment of the injury and determine a long-term prognosis.

Again, he's not on IR, therefore he's coming back. That's my denial story and I'm flippin stickin to it!

Edit,

I can tell you what it isn’t: He did not break his neck, he didn’t break his back, he didn’t injure his spinal cord. He was 100 percent OK (Sunday) night, with no numbness. We understand there was some disc involvement, but we don’t know what extent. The team took the step of putting him on injured reserve today, and their recommendation was they didn’t think they wanted to put him at risk for any future injury this year. What that means at this point, I can’t tell you. We don’t have a problem with it.

Right now, we don’t know anything more at this point. Nick has told us he feels fine. We’ll see what kind of damage he’s done to himself with this fluke injury. What is absolutely wonderful is he has absolutely no lingering effects. He has full mobility, no numbness, and that’s what we’re thankful for.

Well that's mighty encouraging at least. Good for him.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

I'd rather the guy had a life beyond football. Sterling never played again and we lived.

Man, I'm going to miss the guy. He's truly a beast. Huge opportunity for Burnett to break out though.

beast (6h) : Yeah, and I enjoyed your comments and just attempted to add to it. Sorry if I did it incorrectly.
wpr (7h) : Beast I never said Henderson was the salt of the earth. Nor even that he was correct. Just quoting the guy.
Zero2Cool (10h) : What did you do??
Zero2Cool (10h) : Whoa
beast (10h) : OMG the website is now all white, even some white on white text
beast (11h) : Henderson, who admits to taking cocaine during the Super Bowl against the Steelers, might dislike Bradshaw as he lost two Superbowls to him
wpr (28-May) : Hollywood Henderson said Bradshaw “is so dumb, he couldn't spell 'cat' if you spotted him the C and an A.”
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : Cooper stock=BUY BUY BUY

Zero2Cool (28-May) : LaFleur on Watson: “Christian is doing outstanding. I would say he’s ahead of schedule.”
Martha Careful (28-May) : Bradshaw is a dumb ass cracker. I am so tired of his "aw shucks" diatribe. He should shrivel up and go away.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : He wad all butt hurt because Aaron duped the media saying he was immunized.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : Bradshaw needs to retire. He's been ripping on Rodgers ever since the covid crap. He was all hury
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Terry Bradshaw doesn't want Rodgers in Pittsburgh lol wow

Zero2Cool (19-May) : Packers have signed first-round pick Matthew Golden, leaving second-round tackle Anthony Belton as their only unsigned draft pick
beast (19-May) : Supposedly he has to take his image, and name off of it... but otherwise could keep selling wine if he wanted to.
Zero2Cool (19-May) : he giving up his win business?
beast (19-May) : Speaking of Woodson, sounds like he'll be a minority owner (0.1%) of the Browns
Mucky Tundra (15-May) : Zero, regarding Woodson, that'd why I find the timing with Williams peculiar
dfosterf (15-May) : Ryan Hall y'all does a great job of tracking thesr
Zero2Cool (15-May) : Fear not!! I planned to do 33mi bike ride tomorrow morning, so ... yeah

Mucky Tundra (15-May) : Or that Williams and his family are preparing an exit ramp if they don't like how things are going in a few years
Mucky Tundra (15-May) : Either Williams thought it would make him look good (reluctant but then embraces the city and franchise)
