AHMAN GREEN TO IR

It may be the end of the line for Ahman Green.
The Houston Texans are expected to place Green on injured reserve today, the Houston Chronicle is reporting. That definitely ends his season, probably ends his time with the Texans and might end his career.
The most recent injury for Green was a knee sprain suffered Sunday against the Browns. He has also been limited by groin and hamstring injuries in his two seasons with the Texans.
Green had 74 carries for 294 yards and three touchdowns this season and 70 carries for 260 yards and two touchdowns last season. For that, the Texans paid him more than $11 million.
Although Sundays knee injury in and of itself isnt career-threatening, Green will turn 32 in February, and 32-year-old running backs coming off back-to-back seasons of less than 300 yards arent exactly hot commodities in the free agent market. Green might be done.
