I actually would be ok with him coming back and trying a 3rd down or a short yardage type of roll. I recall Ahman Green being one of the best if not the best back at picking up the 3rd and 1. Ryan Grant is anything but that. Granted he's older and not as good, but it wouldn't hurt to look or consider.

He is a class act. A good person, and was a very good Packer Player.

Houston...

He and his agent made that decision. Remember, he chose to take the money. If he wanted a ring he could have perhaps taken less and gone to a contender at the time... But he chose the highest offer I think. I hope that money is invested well, and he is set for life.

Ahman played well but his fumbles drove me crazy. He cost us many games because of them. I was glad to see him go.

I asume we resign him, so he can retire a Packer. He deserves that, after being a good RB for that many years in the Packers orginization.

Ah, The Green man... I wish Grant had Green's ability to cut back and accelerate. He was something when he saw that hole.

Other than the fumbling problem, I'd say he was the BEST RB the Packers ever had other than Jim Taylor...

BTW, I like you signature.

Is that a plug for the Probowl?

i'm glad he was able to have a big payday. I, like many other packer fans, saw this coming, so i'm glad he didn't get the payday from us. but good for him.

At least the guy got his money, I'm sure he knew himself that physically he was pretty done and that's why didn't try really hard to get a deal with packers.

Anyways still great deal not made by TT.

I still say it to this day Ted Thompson is one of the best GM's

The only 2 mistakes that his done : Hiring Sanders / Frost

Like I said before, I'd like that aswell.

If I didn't miss anything, Ahman left without any trouble or fighting, so I don't see any trouble there.

Also, the Packers signed Dorsey Levens back on the roster just a year or two again, to retire as a Packer. Chances seem pretty good, if Ahman wants it himself.
