Well Wade, since 5% of the people control 90% of the wealth in this country, I would say there are some things that have happened in our history that have tipped the scales in the direction of the 5%, but how dare I question these things?

I'm all for guillotine justice. I think those fed up peasants in France should be role models to us all.

In order to solve our ever growing class problems, we first have to fix corruption and then you economist can take over and fix the financial. But since none of that will happen ever, we'll just keep pushing everything into the future.

Yes or no question. Did you vote for the people who bailed out the super rich with OUR money?

(The absolute wrong answer of course is that you didn't vote at all).

Speaking of the debt... I wonder how hard it is to stop an avalanche that someone started prior to you being put in charge of halting it?

I have never voted for a democrat in Washington, so yes, I guess I would have voted for the people that bailed out the wealthy. But I remember being very angry at them. I wanted some heads to roll over that scandal.

Bill Clinton didn't have to fight a war, and if 911 wouldn't have happened; Bill Clinton's policies would have had us out of debt, but I'm quite sure W would have screwed that all up.

I did too. Heads still need to roll over this scandal, and it's both parties that are responsible.

You guys see that movie inside job (matt damon in it (voice))

You know what would of been an interesting way to have fixed the economic crisis ... is to go after everyone that benefited from it. Every single last banker and scam artist and just take their money and use that.

Problem was too that these same bankers often gave out loans to people that may have not been able to afford their house payments ...

I got to think that 2 major wars dont help the issue either - whats the total on the money spent 2 trillion or so on these 2 wars ??? have they helped the oil supply that much???

Dulak - Never have seen it, but I think you and I may be close to agreement on this issue. Yes, these 2 wars (now 3) are costing us a bundle. Thus I stand by what I said earlier - cut the military. We only need a fraction of it. Give every family in the country an automatic weapon and stay out of foreign entanglements, period. Out of the UN. Out of NATO. Out of everything. You'd save hundreds of billions every year and you can let other people fight in the wars. No longer our problem.

That's the problem though. Obama came in with the whole "CHANGE" line. Yet what has changed? More involvement with war, more debt, more taxes.
Yeah....."CHANGE". (That's all i have left in my pocket)

Well, we don't have to worry about the head terrorist anymore, you know the guy that won a 7 year game of hide and go seek with that thinker George W.

People who had previous health conditions are now insurable when he started a work-in-progress new health system, ironically almost identical to right winger Mitt Romney's Massachuessetes plan.

He has made total ass clowns out of the right wing by standing there and taking every shot they had to give in sabotaging his presidency, while keeping his dignity and focus. I don't know how he keeps his cool when he's interviewed by a condescending prick like Bill O'Reilly, but he does it.

Cheesey, which sacrificial lamb are you backing for the GOP nomination? Be specific and why. What's funny about the GOP right now is that they have ventured so far right that even Saint Ronald Reagan would be viewed as a Liberal. Tack on what that dipshit governor in your state did attacking collective bargaining and pissing off every union worker in the US, and we are looking at some landslide material for the democrats, especially if the economy turns around more.
