Multiple-choice question for everyone:

Sam Adams was:
(a) a beer.
(b) a hero in the fight against British tyranny.
(c) a politically incorrect asshole.
(d) a tea party type.
(e) all of the above.
(f) a proto-Nazi.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

E. most of the "Fathers of our Country" were borderline tax evaders themselves, which is about all the tea baggers have in common with them.

Wade what percentage of our national budget is spent on defense versus human services? The tea party members just do not feel they should have to pay for welfare cases, of course unless it is one of their relatives, then it's OK because they've paid their share.

The biggest mistake Obama and Bush made were bailing out the banks and General Motors - welfare at it's very finest. And if the government ever wanted to do some good, there should be a reverse income tax for those that live below the poverty level but still work at a job. Cut out the government beaurocracy and send the money directly to those in need in the form of a refund.

Talk to John Kerry and Al Franken about evading taxes.

If you'd stop bleating everything from Dan Rather you'd get respect. Do you even know what the facts behind the issues are before you post? All you do is throw out the same old insults and one-liners which is a huge flag about your ability to think for yourself.

People who can't debate an issue without resorting to using Hate Speech are going to be called out for being stupid and ignorant. Tag! You're "it!"

If I call a group of people stupid that's one thing, you singled me out and called me that - if you did that to my face you would have a serious problem.

Maybe you need to hang out with different friends.

I make ok money, think we all pay too much taxes, and am not white (and get reminded of that by stupid racist cops). I think the Tea Party actually has a few good things to say, but they're wrong on other points. They're right that we need to enforce the borders better (send your kids to California schools and you'll agree). They're right that our tax rates are too high. And they're right that this country's spending is out of control. They're also right about the 2nd Amendment.

It seems to me that you've resorted more to name-calling than using facts here. It also appears that you're bitter and quick to judge.

Look, I don't judge a man by his heart. I judge him by his actions. If a man in his heart has racial issues, but sees me dying on the side of a road and performs CPR and saves my life, I'm going to like the guy and hope in his heart he changes. I try to see the good in people and try to show people the right way by setting examples, not name calling.

And wtf is an anglo race? I got some Germanic friends who would get bent out of shape if they got called Anglo. Seriously. If you're going to make a racial slur, at least get it right.

And once again, find some more interesting friends. There are a lot of real neat people out there. Find them.

So hammering Obama with the Socialist and Communist labels for the last 3 years was what - ethical, righteous. Plenty of name calling bull shit comes from the far right when they aren't in power - all I'm doing in here is playing devils advocate and throwing out things that people think but won't say. The propoganda out of the Fox network sickens me

You pay too many taxes as opposed to what western civilized country with a comparible standard of living to ours? I say you are provided plenty of service and opportunity for your tax dollar. Are you speaking Arabic our Chinese yet. That military we employ costs a lot of money, but you don't have to pay for it?

Anybody singles me out and calls me stupid, I'm pretty much up in their face about it. The only one that gets away with that in here is Formo because he and I have built that rapport over the years, and because I actually love the guy (he better not use that against me either). 🙂
