Didn't Walker give back some of his pay when he worked for Milwaukee County?
Yet he's being attacked as a bad guy. He gave back his own money. And he sure didn't have to.
And "Michael Moore". How many millions has he made with his B.S. movies? He's one of the rich guys, isn't he? So who is he to bitch and moan?
And listing the top 20 richest people in America......how does that somehow disallow what i said about rich Hollywood types?
I also keep hearing how the cuts are attacking all of the "middle class". How exactly? It affects public workers, for sure. But it's not like it makes them work for minimum wage with no benefits, does it?
And calling him a "dictator". He said what he was gonna do before he got elected, and now is (unlike most politicians) DOING what he said he was gonna do. The majority of Wisconsinites stand with him. But the minority shows up at the capital, (along with Jesse "i never met a microphone i didn't like") Jackson, they make a big fuss, and they get all the liberal media eatting out of their hands.
In the past, when the democrats had control, they pushed through what THEY wanted. Yet the republicans never ran away and hid. They STILL did their jobs.....unlike the 14 dem senators that hid out in Illinois.
Look at ex-governor Doyle. Over and over, the people of Wisconsin let him know they wanted a concealed gun carry law passed. Yet he (as a TRUE dictator) wouldn't do what the majority of Wisconsinites wanted.
Always ignoring the FACT that the BAD GUYS, you know, the ones you don't want carrying guns, ARE ALREADY CARRYING. It would allow lab-abiding citizens to carry.
But hey, Doyle always did what HE wanted, not what thye people wanted.

The state budget needs to be balanced. Walker is the FIRST one actually trying to do so.
It's about time.

Normally, Rasmussen is a very favorable poll for republicans too.

Serious insight from Mr. Dingus. I really feel bad for a lot of people suckered into following the Tea Party because they are genuinely good people who are being controlled by the puppet masters with all the wealth. Basically they are unpaid muscle doing the dirty work of the wealthy.

Most people don't understand to vote their income bracket. They are coerced into believing they too could one day have that ultimate American Dream where they own a thriving business, and how can you possibly unfairly raise the tax on that wealthy business man? Because that wealthy business man inherited that business from his wealthy father who inherited it from his father. Is some of that wealth ill conceived, was it made on the backs and sweat of underpaid men and women? You bet your ass it was.

Formo always calls me a socialist. I am no goddamn socialist but I do believe strongly in right and wrong, and if you dig deep enough into the wealth of the top 10% of this country, you are going to find a lot of wrong. I want to live to see these people pay deerly for their "ethics or lack of". There is a revolution coming in this country - the poor are sick to death of being poor and the middle class is tired of paying all the bills. Take a stand anywhere you want, but at least take the time to understand who the truly evil people are. It's not the ones collecting welfare checks with broken spirits either - they are the victims.

I'd love to see this, or see how he's making any personal consessions right now. Please provide some evidence. I at least acknowledged that I couldn't prove he gave himself and his cronies 5% raises, merely rumors.

http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/29505169.html

Walker will cut the sum he gives back from $60,000 annually to $10,000. He said he's already returned a great deal - some $360,000 by the end of the month - and will have upped that to a total of $400,000 by the end of the next term.

The job pays $129,611 a year, a sum that won't change in the next term.

Walker volunteered to give back $60,000 of that per year when he was first elected in 2002

Can you find an article/quote/clip or anything from his campaign where he stated he would abolish unions?

Governor-elect Scott Walker raised the possibility of essentially abolishing state employee unions on Tuesday as one option to control rising employee benefits costs and eliminate the state's budget deficit.

Wasnt to hard

Hope no one is sticking to Michael Moores appearance

He is on record as opposing unions when he had two NON union workers he had to deal with...The actors guild union was coming down hard on him for not giving these 2 guys the standard pay and benefits..He had to decide to either keep both and let them join union, he said I cant afford it...So he told them one would be fired

Longtime-
musccy asked for a quote from during his campaign, your quote is from December, when he was already governor elect. Had he even hinted at union busting during his campaign he would have been crushed.

People have to start wising up to the fact that this in all reality has nothing to do with Scott Walker, he's the gun, somebody else pulled the trigger.

right is right & wrong is wrong - balance the budget off your own salary instead of taking more & more rights away from the people who put you in office & pay taxes. take the party lines out of it & think for yourself people! stop being a pawn for your party.

Right and wrong goes a whole lot furthur than politics and point of taxation. Everyone needs to start examining his own house. My brother said something profound to me a couple years ago, he said it's about time people start getting right with God. At the time I just kind shrugged it off, but it's stuck with me.

Thanks dingus- that was the 1st thing I looked at, the date of the article a MONTH after the election.

Also, what's the real agenda here, or who is really pulling the trigger, as you say. Fitzgerald shed some light on this yesterdayFitzgerald's real agenda

If we win this battle, and the money is not there under the auspices of the unions, certainly what youre going to find is President Obama is going to have a much difficult, much more difficult time getting elected and winning the state of Wisconsin.

We all knew this, but now heard it straight from the horses' mouth yesterday. Do you really think this is purely coincidental that ID, WI, MI, IN, OH, and NJ are undertaking similar measures simultaneously? Is union busting REALLY budget related?

Maybe the puppet master(s) behind Walker could balance the budget. Oh wait, they hide behind tax loopholes and wash their money in overseas business ventures. Let the lynch mobs begin.

Yesterday was just another illustration that neither party has the "people" on top of the priority list.. it is primarily about the next election cycle and the the money that drives them. Not to mention the kick backs from special interest groups.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
