I still like Barnett. And I'm hoping they'll at least try him at OLB before dealing him. I really think he could do some damage there.
My guess is they'll trade him during the draft, though.

First.. Nick has never been able to take on blocks effectively and consistently and hold the point of attack. The OLBers have to be able to hold that edge effectively and turn the plays back in.. I highly doubt Nick in a 3-4 scheme would be able to play the run effectively on the edge.
Second.. Barnett has little to no pass rush skills to defeat a blocker and create his own pressure. He gets home on the rush when the scheme affords him a relatively clean look.. seldom is he able to create that pressure on his own. To be fair though.. it is not like he has had an overabundance of opportunities from the inside. That said.. what I have seen.. my opinion is he would struggle there.
So in conclusion.. he wouldn't be overly effective as a pass rusher and would more than likely struggle vs the run. Two strikes in my opinion.. two major ones at that.
Nick would be the most effective, IMO, as a wil in the 4-3..
