I think the $20million all depends on 4's desire to be an ambassador for the GBP's. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's basically a personal services contract. He does however many personal appearances, attends this many games and the Packers get to continue marketing Favre jersey's. If he doesn't want to push the team I'd imagine the deal would decrease and they'd strike some sort for the jersey rights, both parties make quite a bit on them.

Isn't there some bad blood with the White family blocking the team from marketing 92 jersey's?

This is the same Favre that was a Bear's fan last week? A Vikings QB the weeks before? My understanding is he did not accept the one-time offer. To offer it again would make GB look desperate. Simply retire the jersey when (& if) Favre is inducted into the Hall of Fame.

He was a Packers "fan" last week. You might be referring to his comments to Julius Peppers after Week 15 I believe.

Wait until his divorce is final then sign Deanna to a contract for public apearances for the Packers in all Cancer relatedfund raising and merchandising.

As for Brett. Wait until he goes into the HOF then retire his number in the middle of the off season.

I'm sure they will offer Favre the same deal. Once Favre officially retires, the Packers can no longer sell Favre merchandise without his permission. So this merchandising deal will benefit both sides.
