During the Holmgren era, it seemed that you couldn't wait for the 3rd quarter because the team was so good at halftime adjustments. Favre and co. would rack up big points, and Schurmur (sp?) would go for the kill on defense.
Billick mentioned that this year's team has outscored their opponents 70something to 23 in the 3rd Q, and after outscoring SF 14-3, it's clear that this year's team is pretty good at doing the same and adjusting throughout the game.
I don't have a particularily sophisticated football mind (who am I kidding, I ain't 2 smrt @ much) but this certainly seems to be a real strong sign of the competency of our coordinators and coaching staff.
