No, going for it on 4th and goal was undeniably the correct call. The fact that it failed does not change that fact. People seem to assume that when taking a risk fails, it invalidates the choice of that risk, but that's a false conclusion. There is always an acceptable chance of failure when any risk is taken.

No, wrong. Why think critically when you can insert an outdated football maxim.

I'm surprised McCarthy didn't turn to a list of cliches beneath his call sheet. "Oh, damn it, we are on the road. Better kick it."
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

No man Ill say it over and over again we need to execute we are not gonna make the excuse or at least me of bad play calling anymore.Imho the play calling is not necessarily bad.

Only thing is they need to make is an adjustment by running the ball a little more thats the only problem I see with the playcalling.

Executing the plays called is the most important thing good or bad calls.

What do you guys want him to call? There is no money plays or perfect plays this isn't madden.

A West Coast offense does not mean to throw the ball on every down.

The idea is to throw first to open up running lanes. Well...we throw, but we never run. When ahead, we throw. When we're tied, we throw. When it's 3rd and 1, we throw. When it's 2nd and 14, we run.

It doesn't make sense. Pull up the stats and we only ran the ball 3 times in the second half up until the goalline.

Look at the win-loss totals and you will see that Packers chances of winning were over 80% when Grant ran for 20+ carries and Rodgers threw for less than 32 attempts.

I love Rodgers, but lets face it, he's not Peyton Manning who can throw 50 times a game.

I don't understand going out of the shotgun with an empty back field on 3rd and 2, especially after it failed to work once last week.

This is the main problem with mm; he continues to make the same mistakes week after week.

If I'm a D-coordinator, It wouldn't matter to me if the Packers RB was Barry Sanders. I'm still keeping 2 safeties back. He's not a threat if he is never used.

Does anyone know why he is afraid to use B-Jack more, especially on 3rd down?.
