Wow, you really didn't read a damn thing I said, did you?

Jordy's comments alone are not bother some. It's the collection that I've heard through out he young season. I feel more comments are sliding blame off their shoulders than should be.

I did like reading that Mike McCarthy thought we lost the game by the attitude in the locker room after the game, because many players were upset. That's what I want to hear. Because to me, that says 'hey we know were better than this and we need to be better than this'.

I fully believe the Packers are one of the most talented teams in the league right now, but if they can't work together and dominate the teams we 'should', then we'll have a tough time in the playoffs.

Edit, I should add in fairness to my point, it's hard to get 'up' for a team like the Bills or Lions compared to say a former playoff team of the prior year. I just find some of the comments from ALL of the players and coaches a little concerning. They seem a little nonchalant about making mistakes and also don't seem to take accountability.

Sorry, I skimmed the majority of the posts, paying particular attention the OP. I also saw that others agreed with the original grievance about Jordy's comments, so I directed my attention to those.

I want to piggy-back on Silentio's comments, if I may -- the press conference language and public face-saving comments are typical. They make aspiring sports journalists cringe because of their utterly banal and predictable nature (i.e. "We just need to focus on getting better" or "We just have to take this one game at a time"). Taken at face value most post-game interviews lack in value.

I want to make it clear I'm not implying any shortsightedness on from you, Zero. I just want to add to the point that the version we the public get is typically distilled. If you have Ray Lewis in your lockerroom, it's a totally different issue. There's a fool that speaks his mind and doesn't hold back. Most athletes, however, tend to downplay their true thoughts.

You may be on to something with in terms of the emotive sense of players' reactions. If they seem to downplay the team's issues it may be cause for concern. On the same token -- and in concert with what you and others have had to say -- it is reassuring that the lockerroom was downtrodden following the Detroit game. Even in a win the team was miffed. That indicates that they aren't simply satisfied with winning if the collective performance was well under their potential.

For what it's worth we as fans have no idea what goes on during practices or behind closed doors. We don't know how McCarthy holds his players accountable after the game. We only know what we see on the field during gameday and everything else is guesswork. If McCarthy is the kind of coach I think he is I'm sure Jordy got an earful.

Reading the collection of different interviews and comments from post game on.. something strikes me as concerned overall with the locker room and the players upon this team.

Jenkins contract.

Jennings whining about production.

Rodgers apparently whining about either play selection, player grouping or amount of time they had the ball.. yet in the second half he contributed to the problems.

Harris sounding a bit defeated.

Driver not looking Driver like Sunday.
Mike McCarthy basically walling off any criticism and downplaying player comments..

Maybe I am looking with a skeptical eye.. but my gut has me thinking something is not right in the locker room on this team.

Maybe it is just a valley in the season.. maybe it is frustration that they are not dominating like some thought they may.. maybe it is not bringing in players to help fill the gaps in this team through injury and what not.. just something seems off.. and it is not a "good" off.

I'd like to see a list of the players that we projected to be out there contributing but have been lost for whatever reason for a game, games, PUP, IR, suspended, etc. A comprehensive list, possibly including where they were on the depth chart when lost.

I'm too loopy on percocet to do it myself. On one hand, I'm very irritated at MM, the coaches and Ted Thompson right now. On the other hand, I'm trying to remind myself about how we are getting creamed on the depth chart.

Little help, please!-- I'm leaning towards many of Pack93z's observations, but will respond/add to when I get off these pain pills and have at least some lucidity.

Ah, the ironies of David Foster. It's when he's loopy on Percs that he actually writes lucidly. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think Ditka must have been on pain pills also.

He said something that made sense, if you can believe it, and it's kind of sticking with me like a song you can't get out of your head.

He wasn't speaking about the Pack- I forget which team he was talking about, when in doubt I always assume da Bares when he opens his yap-

That's what I'm feeling. Something just doesn't seem right and I'm not able to peg it. But what I've outlined is something that's struck me as concerning. I don't think we 'sound' like a champion. Of course, actions speak louder than words and it takes more than words to be a champion, I get that. It just feels we're a little flippid with what's said publicly. Other teams do not have this that I've heard. Fairness to that point, I don't follow any team as closely as the Packers either.

I'm guilty of it as well. I just didn't like my name being tied to that as if I was being petty over one comment from one player when I tried making a point to say it was a collection of similar comments that has me thinking. ๐Ÿ™‚

Did anyone notice the patriots' team mentality last night? that's what i want to see in Green Bay. Very impressed by the attitude of everyone on the sidelines including the coaches. Great.
