OK..

Who is Mike McCarthy referring to when he say's he does not want a "Punk. Loser Mentality" in Green bay?

He said that exact phrase for a reason... It was not something regurgitated and just pulled out of Vince's fedora. I think he was specifically referring to a specific person or persons.

I have my own theory, but I am not in the locker room so it is just speculation.

Mike is pissed. I like it. I am putting money on the Pack this weekend (Plus 3.5 Points)

it may be from the blaming outside factors for losses and not taking accountability for losses due to the last few elite years they may think they are by default better than everyone.

I refuse to think that because this team is not unselfish.

I mean we should go in every game with the mindset that we'll win right? It's not like we're Rex Ryan saying we'll win the super bowl before a season starts. The players and coaches preach taking it one game at a time, ecspecially 🇲🇲

Here's the actual quote when asked about there bay any panic within the locker room.

You don’t overreact. I’m not a panicker. I think it’s a punk mentality, frankly. I think it’s a loser mentality. It’s time to increase the urgency. We have a great opportunity on Sunday night football. We’re excited to play this team. This is a good team. They’re undefeated. We know how that feels. We know what that position feels like. But we’re going down to Houston to win a football game. That’s what we’re focused on. We got off to a great start today.

Thanks Zero.

It sounds like he wasn't referring to anyone specifically in that context. It's more saying who we're not.

He can talk like that, because he knows his teams always play up to their competition.

Unfortunately they also play down to their competition.

Yeah I don't believe that this was directed towards anyone in particular. Like stated earlier, he was basically saying what we weren't.

I actually like it when he gets like this.
Mike McCarthy was like this before the Superbowl too. WE'RE NOBODY'S UNDERDOG.

It shows emotion and confidence. It shows that he's got at least some sort of emotional connection with the team.

This regime can be very antiseptic with their tendency to always be "on script," saying the right things. This was VERY important for instance, during the Favre fiasco.

But sometimes it's good to hear that emotion isn't a matter of indifference to MM.

It was balanced AND effective. They knew WHERE to run the ball tonight. It was a match up win for the Pack tonight.
Circular Arguments: They are a heck of an annoyance

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE

Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Well that didn't take long; Jerod Mayo out as Patriots HC
Zero2Cool (5-Jan) : I would expect it to be higher in favor of Eagles
Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Thst line seems...generous
Zero2Cool (5-Jan) : Eagles -3.5 over Packers in Wildcard Round

Zero2Cool (5-Jan) : That gives them their best chance
Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Cowboys starting Trey Lance at QB vs Commanders; GB vs Philly in the Wild Card incoming!
Mucky Tundra (4-Jan) : Stinks for Lloyd. Hoping he comes back strong for next year
