Twitter is just the medium in which the news came from the source, much like a phone is the medium to get the news from the source.

I use twitter daily. Not to tell people I am on the shitter or anything but to converse with people I could not otherwise converse with. Such as Aaron Rodgers, Brad Paisley, Ryan Grant, Bubba Watson, Ian Polter, Jack Welch, Suze Orman, Local news crews, etc.

It gives me the ability to get info straight from the source and alot of times before it is anniounced elsewhere.

I love it.
