I have a bad feeling Jarrett Bush makes the final roster as the 4th safety behind Peprah. I think Blackmon will join Bigby on the PUP list. Bush has more lives than a cat.

I also forgot to comment on one thing. Blackmon can't be on the PUP list.

That's true. It's on the roster, IR, or cut for him. And I'm not sure about the cut part. It might be waived/injured, because I think they'd have to give him a settlement if they cut him while he has an injury. To be on PUP, he would have had to have been on it all through Training Camp.

Packers Cut Roster Down to 75
AUTHOR: djlombardi

The reaper has come to the Packers training camp and has already felled his first victims. The Packers have cut their roster down to 75 players now. Running back DeShawn Wynn, running back Ryan Powdrell, wide receiver Chris Francies, and offensive tackle Ryan Considine are no longer members of the Green Bay Packers.

The cutting of Wynn to a casual fan would be a surprise, as he performed well in 2007, but if you look closer, he had so many durability and toughness issues that his days in the green and gold were numbered. He probably has the best chance to catch on with a new team.

Also, Justin Harrell was placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. Harrell is out for at least the first six weeks of 2008. He is starting to reek of bust.

I'm pleased to see Harrell put on the PUP. That means another player with hopefully better availability will be given a chance to demonstrate his worth.

Oh, shit. I just now noticed the dates. I did wonder about names like Considine and Powdrell, since they didn't ring a bell.

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
