I really don't like Scarlett Johansson that much. Don't find her particularly good looking or attractive at all.

And it isn't one of Keira Knightley's better pictures, either.

Scarlett Johanssen appeals more to young nerdy guys. She was uber cool in a nerdy way in Ghost World and had a cute relationship with an older guy in Lost in Translation, the two movies I liked her in the most. I found The Man Who Wasn't There to be boring and didn't like The Black Dahlia.

Now when I say young nerdy guys, I don't mean that one bit an insult. Our country has an anti-intellectual current where smart people are not cool. I think nerds are often cool and take pride in being a UNIX Master.

Anyways, back to Scarlett. Her appeal is more than just looks. She has an aura to her that the majority of young women don't have. If you look at my favorite actresses (looks, not talent), they're often 35+. Like off the top of my head, Salma Hayek and Monica Bellucci are both 40+. Yes, Scarlett's aura doesn't appeal to everyone. But it appeals to me and obviously Twinkie.

I do agree that that's not one of Keira's better pictures. Considering they probably shot 500 pics for that shoot (no exaggeration), surely they could have picked a better shot.

That's the thing Rock.. Scarlett has got the 'girl next door' look. And her body doesn't look like she hasn't had a meal in 2 months.

The difference between Scarlett and 50% of the girls at your supermarket? Scarlett has more money. Therefore, Scarlett = untouchable. And us guys want what us guys can't have.
