So, the Big Ten has 12 teams and the Big 12 has ten teams? Okay ....

Had to dig to find this thread because the Big Ten today revealed how the conference divisions were going to line up. And to be honest.. I love them.
O division: X division:
Ohio State Michigan
Penn State Nebraska
Illinois Northwestern
Purdue Iowa
Indiana Michigan State
Wisconsin Minnesota
The teams that are across from each other are protected rivals. Which means that despite not being in the same divisions, they'll still play every year no matter what.
Which means from a Minnesota standpoint.. This is awesome. First off, we get the Little Brown Jug (oldest trophy game in the sport) back on a yearly basis. Minnesota keeps it's border battles with Iowa and Wisconsin (longest running D1 rivalry games played consecutively).. and they are in the same division as Nebraska. Which is significant because Minnesota has played Nebraska more than any other Big Ten school by a large margin.
To say I'm jacked about this football season and the following is a big time understatement.
Thanks to TheViking88 for the sig!!
