Coming from a Viking fan and complaining about living off the past.. your stats posting living in the glory days is humorous.

The Vikings and the Gophers are two different entities. Also, and you can be the first to say, Badger fans need the 'wake up call' of our past. Most Gopher fans don't trumpet the 'glory days' like your Puker fans do. But since we are comparing the two rivalries.. Lets rehash..
Wisconsin has been around since 1889. Minnesota has been 1882. Pretty damn close. So lets just call it a wash and say both programs have been around for the same period of time. The Gophers won 6 Nat'l Championships and 18 Big Ten titles. Becky has won zero Nat'l Championships and 11 Big Ten titles.
The Packers have been around since 1919. Has 3 Lombardi trophies and 11 NFL championships (all prior to the Lombardi trophy). The Vikings have been around since 1960. Ouch. Definitely NOT in the same time frame. Can't really 'compare' with the Packers history (and their much better chances of winning as many championships as they have).
My point? You can't compare how I harp on you guys for bringing up GB's history, because on other foot, the Vikings don't have that history, to Gopher fans bringing up the history of their program to Badger fans.. well because both college programs have had the same time frame in which to flesh out their dynasties.
It is okay to be the cellar dweller of the conference yearly. Someone has to take that rank... ;)

First off, only one year in the past 10+ have the Gophers been the cellar dweller (1-11 season 3 years ago). But I agree with you on how someone has to have that rank. Right now, it's Indiana (you remember the team that just about smoked your Becky Badgers?)
Thanks to TheViking88 for the sig!!
