I with with some of that Tony Gonzalez isn't the "missing piece" or "going to put us over the edge".
But He's a play maker and maybe the best TE in the NFL. Gonzalez could open up the offense more than Lee could. And he would be the best blocking TE on the roster.
I mean just think of lining up with, Jennings, Driver, Jones, Nelson and Gonzalez.
Somebody is going to get open.
No he's not going to makes us great, but he helps open everything up. Whose going to stop him?
Since 2003, he's got at least 900 yards every season and that's with some of those years where with pretty bad QBs playing for him. Also he has only missed one game since 2000.
So he's not going to make the Packers great, but there is no doubt he would help a lot after learning the system, which the Packers will have the bye soon which would help him with that.
