The Texans were hoping rookie Louis Nix would be the answer in the middle for their defense. But now that he's hurt, they went for experience. The Texans announced they had signed veteran Ryan Pickett, to replace the third-round pick who was placed on injured reserve. Nix injured his wrist lately, but hadn't played a...

Shame though, with a roster spot open, Pickett could have added some beaf and depth to the D-line.

I obviously don't know what type of shape Pickett is in, but I can't help but think that Pickett > Guion. I don't see how he couldn't be if he was healthy enough to be on a roster. That doesn't necessarily mean I think Pickett will be very good, it just means I think Guion is bad.

Did I hear correctly that Cullen Jenkins just had a strip sack against the Skins?

Back in the day, it was clear Ted couldn't afford BOTH Jenkins and Jolly. Jenkins was approaching 30 and was always hurt. LOL. Sometimes you roll the dice.
