What does a Yosh Nijman for Joe Tippman straight up  trade need ? I'm genuinely curious.

This answer takes cojones, imo

While that trade as a whole might be unrealistic, I have wondered if they did swing a trade if they'd throw in one of the backups along the line into the trade but figured the Jets would want another T like Walker or Jones.

I threw in Newman and Hanson as we're taking their backup C/G. I actually even considered throwing in Meyers or Runyan and honestly that would probably make it more realistic for Trippmann.

Only thing I can think of (straight up wise) would be if the Packers gave up the chance at the Jets 2024 1st rounder and just accepted the 2nd rounder instead, which is not happening.

Jets already have OT bodies,  they need quality healthy starters, and the Packers have consistently benched Nijman.

Plus Nijman is on a oney year deal, he'll be on a veterans contract next year, and not a starter. Meanwhile Trippmann still has four years on his rookie deal and is expected to be a starter next year, if not this year.

If some team offers a 1st and 4th for Bakhtiari, I'm not saying you have to pull the trigger, but you have to consider it.

Though I believe the Packers are trying to go the safe route, which is make Love look the best you can, make Rodgers look the worse you can, win the PR war, and get the highest 2023 pick from the Jets that you can.

The Jets having no decent OT despite otherwise being loaded gives the Packers a chance at a top 16 2023 pick, assuming Rodgers can stay healthy enough to play 65% of the snaps.

Also Packers backup OTs aren't good enough, so Packers will be in trouble without Bakhtiari.

But if the Jets get desperate enough, I can absolutely see them making a huge trade for an OT, Packers or another team.

Mucky Tundra (8h) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9h) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (13h) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (13h) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.

Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage

Mucky Tundra (30-Apr) : S learn from McKinney who learns from Hafley who learns from the fans. Guaranteed Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : I miss having Sam Shields.
