It is pointless to talk about players being on pace to set a record after week 2. One week ago every body was talking about how Cris Johnson was on pace for another 2,000 yard season and going to break the record for consecutive 100+ yard games.

It's just two games, so this talk of breaking the record is premature.

With that said, Matthews has been amazing. You can definitely see he worked on his pass rush repertoire and it's paid dividends two games into the season.

For what it's worth, Raji and Jenkins have also done a nice job of providing push, so we're two for two in getting after the QB.

Yeah, it's worth mentioning that without the double teams taken up and the pressure put on the pocket by Raji, Pickett, and Jenkins, Matthews may not have had the success he's had.

But clearly the man is a flat out beast all over the field.

Matthews has that motor that just never quits, he goes hard all day long and I think a lot of the time OTs just get tired of trying to block him

Clay is just amazing. I must admit i didn't think he would be THIS good. But man he has really impressed me because not only is he doing good this season he had a spectacular season last year. Consistency is good.

I think he might actually break the record. I can't imagine a game in which he won't get at least one, he's explosive. It's like he's faster and stronger than anyone else on the field.

We all knew the Bills OLine is probably the worst in the NFL. But you can only beat who's in front of you.
