I've posted this before several times, but I'll post it again.

A player on the Reserve/PUP list does not count against the 53-man roster. He can workout and attend meetings with the team, but he cannot practice. Following Week 6, the player has three weeks in which he can practice with the team. At any time during this period, the team can (and must) make a decision either activate the player to the 53-man roster or put him on IR. If the player is activated, another roster move must be made; the most common would probably be the placing of another player on IR.

I watched another highlight reel of this guy, and I don't see how he can be discredited. He runs hard, hits hard, and jukes hard. What else could we ask for? And as for his injury that has held him out for his Sr. year and put him on the PUP right now, it was a shoulder injury and now a hamstring injury. The shoulder will not affect his agility as a RB, and the hamstring injury won't either. True, a full hammie injury can take up to 6 months to heal (this coming from a physical therapy student), but they can heal and he could avoid reoccurance with the right conditioning. I like this guy, and I look forward to seeing him get some playing time.

I like a lot about Starks, from what I've seen. Like Jennings, his speed is deceptive because he's so smooth. He seems to have good vision and big play ability. He breaks tackles and breaks ankles. The only thing I don't like is how he carries the football, always in his right arm and kind of wagging out there. I know he had fumble issues in college. Hopefully they worked with him on this during the summer.

Why? What has happened to other players they tinkered with what they've been doing most of their playing days?

If he's not fumbling the ball, don't mess with it.

I'm not sure why we have this feeling of fixing things that may not be broken before finding out if they are a problem.

Well, I double checked his stats, and it looks like he had ZERO fumbles in college. Kind of a big difference from the 20 aadp announced in the draft thread. That's what I get for listening to him.

Annnnd I'm excited as hell about Starks again. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AADP. Jesus.

Anybody have an idea as to when we might be able to see him? If this year, even? From what I read above, it appears that they have from week 6-9 to bring him off the PUP list and start bringing him on the field, assuming that he is ready to go?

IF he fumbled 20 times in three years, yeah maybe teach him how to hold onto the ball like Tiki switched to.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=170697

According to that link, looks like he had nearly 3,200 touches and didn't fumble it once. Kind of neat.
