I really, really, really like this pick.
http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?prospect_id=2214 For three years James Starks was the heart and soul of the Buffalo offense. For a young program like Buffalo, it was Starks who deserves a lot of credit for turning things around. As a freshman in 2006, Starks led the Bulls in rushing with 704 yards and reached the end zone six times. But he was more than just a rusher, he also was second on the team in receptions. As a sophomore, Starks became Buffalo's first ever 1,000 yard rusher at the now FBS level. On top of his 1,103 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns, Starks added 311 receiving yards, two more scores and his second All-MAC second-team honors. Things got even better in 2008 when Starks ran for 1,333 yards and 17 total touchdowns.
Obviously Starks and Buffalo had high expectations heading into the 2009 season. However, shoulder surgery in August put a quick end to his 2009 campaign and the Bulls have struggled without him.

Kiper loves him:
http://ubfan.com/board/index.php?topic=10469.0 Kiper also was very high on James Starks, the University of Buffalo's career rushing leader, who missed the whole season with a shoulder injury but could be a steal.
"He's right now back to where he needs to be physically or close to it," Kiper said. "He would have been a second- or third-round pick had he played this year with Buffalo, so James Starks, if you can get him in the fourth or fifth round, the kid's got a lot of ability."
Looks like an awesome, classic Ted Thompson extreme high value pick. At an area of NEED. (Fast, passcatching RB.)
